Copy that sells
I write it. You won't get a page of lorem ipsum to fill in yourself.
Websites for small UK businesses
Yours shouldn't. I build fast, findable websites — and wire them into the systems you already use, so an enquiry becomes a booked job on its own.
This site is the sample. Same build, same speed, same stack — have a look around and judge the work before you speak to me.
The usual thing
And it's probably one of these.
None of those are design problems. They're the result of treating a website as a brochure rather than as the front door to how the business actually runs.
What you get
No page builder, no template licence, no plugin that breaks in a year.
I write it. You won't get a page of lorem ipsum to fill in yourself.
Most of your customers arrive on a phone. That's the version I design first.
Static-rendered and edge-hosted. Loads before a template site has finished its fonts.
Meta tags, structured data, sitemap, and a Google Business Profile that matches.
HTTPS, no plugins to get hacked, no WordPress admin to keep patched.
Privacy policy and terms, drafted for a UK business — not a generator.
The code is yours. No licence, no lock-in, no monthly fee to stay online.
You get a plain-English guide covering how to update text, prices and hours.
How it goes
What the business does, who it's for, and what you want a visitor to do. No brief document to fill in.
Structure, copy, design, the lot. You see a live link partway through, not at the end.
You tell me what's wrong. I fix it. Not a formal revision process — a conversation.
Domain pointed, SSL issued, Google notified, handover guide sent. It's yours.
Pricing
No monthly fee. No contract. Hosting is free on the tier I use.
£750
Up to 5 pages, live within a week.
£995
The site, plus one process automated end to end.
Half up front, half when you're happy it's live. If you look at what I've built and don't want it, you don't pay the second half and you owe me nothing further.
Questions
No. Sites go on Vercel's free tier, which is genuinely free and faster than most paid shared hosting. You only pay for your domain, roughly £15 a year, and you own that. If you'd rather host elsewhere, the code is yours to move.
Then the honest question is whether it needs replacing or fixing. Sometimes the site is fine and the problem is that nothing happens when someone fills the form in. I'll tell you which on the call, and if rebuilding isn't worth it I'll say so.
Yes, for the things you'll actually want to change — text, prices, opening hours, photos. You get a written guide. For bigger structural changes you can come back to me or take the code to any developer, because you own it.
Your logo if you have one, any photos you want used, and half an hour on a call. If you don't have a logo I'll make you a simple one. I write the copy from the call, so you're not staring at a blank document.
Because hourly billing makes you hesitate before asking a question, and that produces worse work. The price is agreed before I start and doesn't change.
Fifteen minutes, no pitch. I'll tell you what I'd build, what it would cost, and whether it's worth doing at all.
